- These Saw Scabbards can only hang on the inside of your bucket due to the secure shape of the mounting hook. Adding the replaceable liner to the inside of the blade holder will significantly increase the life span of the scabbard. As the liner starts to wear away, order another replacement liner and install it yourself in minutes instead of replacing the whole scabbard. The entire scabbard is made from the same plastic as a bucket liner and only comes in black. The blade cover is bolted to the backboard with 8 bolts and lock nuts. Saw scabbards are recommended to be removed during transport.
The boom covers all fit like they should bolt on . The tri fold bucket cover I got is a really nice and easy to use and store cover. The chain saw scabbard fit the bucket nice and snug ,while being able to slide it back and forth easily . All the parts and equipment I got were in quality at a fair price ! My one stop shop from now on.
In the past, I have had saw scabbards from other companies that would come off of the lift basket when I removed the saw to use it. I ended up having to bolt the old one to the basket to prevent it from falling off since I keep the saw outside of the basket since there is no room for it inside. When my old scabbard was worn out, I was looking for a new one and found this one. It said that it was for inside mount only but I think that is only true if you have a fiberglass basket. It works great on my aluminum basket on the outside and the hook at the top keeps it from coming off when I remove my saw. I usually use a top handle Stihl saw which the scabbard works fine for but took a picture to show that it will hold a much bigger/heavier saw with no problem! The saw in the picture is my old Jonsered 630 with a 20" bar and this scabbard handles it with no problem. Great product!
Quality of product. Very well made. Tough and durable. Looks like it’ll last a while throughout the everyday abuse.
This scabbard is very well made and sturdy. The inside plastic part is very hard. Should last along time. Easily pops right onto the bucket.
